Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum and diamond wristwatch with World Time system and a platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp on brand new alligator strap signed Patek Philippe. Accompanied by a box and Extract from the Archives and an instruction manual.
Case: Two-body, solid, polished, screwed-down transparent case back, protected winding crown, push button on the band to activate the settable discs with the different time zones, the 24 hours and jump-type time setting, concave lugs, Top Wesselton diamond set between the lugs at 6, sapphire crystals.
Dial: Guilloche blue-gray with applied white gold baton indexes, surrounded by a blue and matte silver 24-hour revolving disc for the diurnal and nocturnal hours, outer revolving ring dial bearing the names of 24 cities in the world. White gold lozenge hands.
Movement: Cal. 240 HU, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 33 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung fl at balance spring, 22K gold micro-rotor.
Accompanied by an instruction manual, Patek Philippe box and Extract from the Archives confirming date of sale in 2003. Ref. 5110, made from 2000 until 2006, was the first world time model produced by Patek Philippe since the Ref. 2523.
